Enrolled with the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu in 2009, N. Alagu Narayanan has over fourteen years of experience in litigation and corporate matters. He began his practice under Mr. M. Sundar and assisted Mr. S. Muthuraj in handling litigation for the Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation (TASMAC), and has handled matters for Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited (TNPL).
His practice centres on civil and commercial litigation, in which he prosecutes and defends client interests before courts and tribunals, with substantial work in company law, arbitration, labour law, intellectual property and consumer matters. He independently conducts cases before the High Court of Madras, the National Company Law Tribunal (and the erstwhile Company Law Board), the Debts Recovery Tribunal, Magistrate Courts, the consumer forum, the Small Causes Court and the Tamil Nadu Real Estate Regulatory Authority.
He has been appointed to act as an arbitrator and has a thorough working knowledge of arbitral proceedings.
